And so it's FOMC news and a backtest of news data over the last year.

I would like to point out that price often gives a pattern of entry when the world economy is going through bad times and has a very fast pace, so in quiet times you probably cannot take positions on this news, because originally this news should have been done from 2016…

Notes about these news:

You cannot speak for any FOMC news in isolation, for there is a clear concept of how price moves in a given interval.

Options for price movement during the news:

  1. it is single news. At these news the price moves in one direction relative to the HTF chart.

  2. it is double news with 30 minutes difference. The first news is a manipulation that collects the nearest HTF targeting/swinging after which a true move is given on the second FOMC news (30 minutes later).

From the notes.

During the FOMC news the price always collects LTF liquidity before the main move (we are talking about the first variant and the manipulation move in the second variant).
